On October 25 - 26, 2022, WTZ e.V. together with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH organized a German-Algerian seminar on hydrogen infrastructure and its challenges as a partial event of an Algerian delegation trip in the framework of the German-Algerian Energy Partnership and the International Hydrogen Ramp-up Program.
On July 07, 2022, the Association for the Promotion of Scientific-Technical Cooperation in the Raw Materials Sector (WTZ e.V.) held its first workshop of the series "Biogas holistically thought". Biogas / biomethane production has the potential to provide environmentally friendly and storable energy in a circular economy. The series of events is to consider how a circular economy implementation can look like from a scientific-technical perspective. The event was moderated by Prof. Dr. Hartmut Krause, board member of WTZ e.V.
On September 30, 2022, the Association for the Promotion of Scientific-Technical Cooperation in the Raw Materials Sector e.V. (WTZ e.V.) held the second workshop of the series "Biogas holistically thought". In the second event of the series, the optimization of economic efficiency and value creation as well as opportunities and risks of CCU technology in biogas and biomethane production were discussed. The event was moderated by Prof. Dr. Hartmut Krause (TU Bergakademie Freiberg) as a member of the WTZ e.V. board.
The German-Russian Raw Materials Forum (DRRF) was a dialogue platform in the field of scientific-technical cooperation in the raw materials sector of both countries. Due to Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, the work of the German-Russian Raw Materials Forum has been ended.
